Who we are
The Muntigunung Community Development Program is a partnership between several non profit organisations in the area of Muntigunung in North East Bali. It’s aim is to develop the dry and less privileged area by working together with the local communities to create better access to clean water, healthcare, education and to develop employment opportunities through the Muntigunung Community Social Enterprise.
Our award winning 3 hour trek takes guests through breathtaking landscapes to discover a nearly untouched side of Bali. Apart from beautiful views, visitors also get to see first hand the employment the social enterprise is creating.

Are you able to get up early in the morning? Are you fit and love being outdoors? Do you like being around people?
If you answered all 3 questions with yes – join our crew!
Your job will be to guide the guests and tell them about the history of Muntigunung and the social enterprise. During the trek you will carry a heavy backpack with food and drinks for the guests and make sure they are safe and comfortable from pick up to drop off.
+ Ensure smooth, safe tours from start to finish by accompanying the guests from pick up till drop off.
+ Promote the Muntigunung Community Development Program and the region of North Bali.
+ Physically fit
+ Outgoing personality
+ Culturally aware
+ Interest in community development
+ HPI Guide Licence preferable
+ Excellent spoken Balinese and English. German is a plus
+ Indonesian national, already based in Bali, preferably in the Ubud area.
Bali. Trekking location is in Muntigunung, North Bali
Working hours based on trekking schedule with early morning start
2 days off per week
Fixed base salary with attractive bonus per trek
